Help Us Spread The Word
About This DVD
The Cross Counter Guide to Ryu featuring Air is the first of our new series of expert-level strategy discussions. We figured since Ryu is the most popular character in Super Street Fighter 4, we'd bring in an our buddy Air to give you guys the lowdown on his mindset, strategies and tactics.
Air, who placed Top 8 recently at West Coast Warzone 3 in Southern California as well as in Calgary at Canada Cup, is an established Ryu pro. He has trained with some of the best players in the world in Japan and qualified to compete at Super Battle Opera 2010, one of Japan's most prestigious tournaments. We only bring you the best of the best because that's what we want for you guys.
He is joined by Cross Counter's own Mike Ross, who is an experienced pro himself, recently placed in the Finals of Evo 2010 in Las Vegas. Together they discuss and demonstrate beginner, intermediate and advanced tactics.

About Distribution
We think we have something very unique and special with this project and hope to do more in the future. Nobody else is doing videos like this so we're planning to continue with different characters, high-level players and different games.
Distributing it to as many people as possible is key to both leveling up the community and growing as a company. That's why we are offering it in as many formats and channels as possible, so that no one is left out. We could have just sold DVDs and not let anybody watch it except those who paid, but the problem with that is that the rest of the community does not benefit. The music and movie industry is full of angry, talented people that are clinging to a dying business model.
We decided that it was best to embrace filesharing and openness, with the belief that it's better for everybody if it was released as a free download via bit torrent, paid direct download from our servers, hosted on our YouTube channel for easy streaming and as a physical DVD for those who prefer them.
Why Purchase a DVD?
Simply put, DVDs are still the best way to enjoy video because everybody has a DVD player or computer with a DVD drive. The DVD has chapter markers which make it easy to navigate chapters with your remote and re-watch certain parts repeatedly. It can be difficult to navigate a relatively long video on YouTube, so sticking to what has been proven to work seemed like an obvious choice.
Also, having a tangible product means not having to worry if your computer crashes and losing a file as well as not needing internet which is not always available.
Why Download Direct?
Downloading direct from our server saves you the trouble of watching on YouTube as well as waiting for a DVD to arrive. The file is in H.264 format which will play on your iPod/iPad/iPhone/AppleTV as well as your computer. For those that don't want to deal with Bit Torrent, but still want to download the file to their computer (which includes chapter markers), this is best!
Why Download via Bit Torrent?
The reality of creating content in a digital age is that if you are popular enough, people will share and distribute your content via bit torrent whether you like it or not. Rather than try to fight it, we are embracing it and distributing it via bit torrent ourselves because we know that for whatever reason, if people don't want to or aren't able to support this project financially, we don't lose anything because they wouldn't have bought it anyways. The more people that see this, the better.
Why Donate?
Donating helps fund future projects like this. If you like what you see and want more like this, a donation of any amount is greatly appreciated. Maybe you think $20 is too much for a DVD and $10 is too much for a download. That's cool, feel free to send us what you think it's worth.
We are making it available to watch for free because we believe that more people seeing it will make for a stronger player base. If you would like to support this project, you can do so by purchasing a DVD, a digital download or by donating.
